Design / Build & Construction

Design/build is a method of project delivery in which EMR as the design/builder signs a single contract with the project owner to provide both architectural/engineering (A/E) design services and construction services. Design/build is also known as design/construct and single-source responsibility. Over the past 15 years, use of design/build has greatly accelerated in the United States, making this delivery method one of the most significant trends in design and construction today.

Work performed in these countries has included design/build of a cogeneration power plant, chiller replacement, electrical and mechanical systems upgrades, condition assessments, energy conservation surveys and audits, feasibility studies of the application of new energy efficient technologies, installation of energy efficient upgrades, and presentations of technical workshops on energy efficient design and project management.
